  • Fresh fruit 

Preparation Steps

  • Boil 10 ounces of fresh water in a pot
  • Place a handful of HerbalGoodness bamboo leaves in a drinking cup
  • Pour the boiling water over the bamboo leaves
  • Cover the tea with a clean cloth
  • Let sit for 5 to 7 minutes
  • Add your favorite fruit
  • For more sweetness, add in a teaspoon of honey

Here is another bamboo leaf recipe for you to enjoy. As with the bamboo leaf tea recipe, this recipe is fairly easy to work with. However, the recipe does call for several ingredients. 

Bamboo Rice Recipe 

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of long grain rice
  • 1 cup black beans
  • 1 pound pork shoulder
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 4 tablespoons cooking wine
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons Herbal Goodness bamboo leaves
  • 50 large bamboo leaves
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 1 onion
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation Steps

Place the bamboo leaves, rice and black beans in separate bowls.2 Cover with fresh water and soak overnight. Cut pork shoulder into cubes. Place the meat in a bowl and mix with salt, pepper, Herbal Goodness bamboo leaves, crushed garlic gloves, cooking wine and two tablespoons of oil. Let refrigerate until morning. 

The following morning, heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a skillet.  Cook the pork, diced carrots, sliced onion and ginger in the skillet. Add in the chicken broth. Strain after the meat is browned. Add in the rice and stir ingredients in the skillet. 

Boil the bamboo leaves in a large pot of water. Using a clean towel, wipe the leaves clean after removing them from the pot. Fill the leaves with the rice, beans and pork mixture. Tie with string. Place the bamboo leaves in a skillet filled with water and cook another 7 to 10 minutes. Remove, cool and enjoy!
