Organic Thanksgiving Recipes

Thanks to restaurants, you could save time, effort and lots of dirty dishes by going with Thanksgiving catering. But, you won't be able to treat your guests to your delicious homemade vegan stuffing, turkey dinner, sweet potatoes, veggies, gravy, cranberry sauce and Thanksgiving desserts that way.

You also won't know exactly what ingredients are going into the food. For instance, you won't know if Thanksgiving dinner catering has the healthy antioxidants, vitamins and minerals that you'll find in Herbal Goodness non-GMO herbs and natural fruit products.

So, pull out your apron and get ready to try these three organic Thanksgiving recipes that can leave  your holiday guests showering you with compliments. First up, is the centerpiece of your turkey dinner.

  • Sage Roasted Turkey2

Get a medium sized turkey (about 15 pounds). Two teaspoons of Herbal Goodness Papaya Leaves (the dried bulk kind), 20 fresh sage leaves, 1 Granny Smith apple, 1 onion, 1/4 cup of olive oil, half a stick of margarine, fresh ground pepper, seasoned salt and 1 cup chicken broth.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Get your thawed turkey. Then, remove the turkey's insides. Season the turkey with salt and pepper. Using your glove covered hands, rub the margarine over the turkey's entire outer surface. Stuff the inside of the turkey with the Herbal Goodness Papaya Leaves, evenly disbursed sage leaves and sliced apple and onion.

Cover the turkey in a large roaster. You can also use a baking pan. If you use a baking pan, cover the turkey with aluminum foil. Cook for three hours or until the skin is golden brown and the turkey is done. As a tip, it generally takes 15 minutes of baking or each pound of turkey.
