Dear Herbal Goodness' Valued Customers,
What a difference one year can make!
2013 should remind us that all things are possible when we believe, work hard, take risks and stay true to our values!
As we close out what I consider a foundation-building year, I would love to take a moment to celebrate our achievements and to personally express my heartfelt appreciation to the best customers in the world - You all have worked hard to make 2013 a great year in which we laid a solid foundation that will enable us to grow and enlarge our coasts in 2014.
We could not have reached our goals without your help, and I hope you are proud of what we have achieved together!
As we celebrate, it is important to take a moment to recount a few of our major accomplishments in 2013 including …
(i) Successfully exhibiting at our first ever NPA Expo West Tradeshow
(ii) Launching in over 100 stores including Wegmans
(iii) Launching our USDA Organic/Kosher certification for our teas
(iv) Re-designing our teas and launching the Rooibos/Tropical flavors
(v) Re-formulating and producing our new Papaya Leaf Liquid without preservatives
(vi) Launching our new improved website
(vii) Implementing a mobile website/IOS app.
In addition, we built relationships with partners, made existing processes more efficient, and added exciting new members to our team. We better communicated our vision and clarified our focus and strategy.
As a company, we end 2013 and enter 2014 undeniably healthier, stronger, better able to serve our customers and clients and ready to scale significantly - nationally and internationally.
While we celebrate our achievements, we must not bask in them or rest on our oars. With the 2014 New Year approaching, we will gear up for the work that lies ahead of us, and let us resolve to remain highly disciplined, focused, humble, committed to being prayerful, relevant, cost-conscious and thoughtful in every interaction, recognizing that our ultimate goal at Herbal Papaya is serving God through our service to people.
We have many exciting projects lined up next year. As we leverage our collective strength, I have absolutely no doubt that 2014 will be another great year. Let us march forward into the new year, not in fear, but always with love and courage, knowing that we have the promise of victory with us.
I hope we can share a guiding principle I have tried to imbibe and one I hope will guide us in the coming years. "A candle that lights up another candle does not diminish its own flame.....and yet the world is a brighter place for it" - our world certainly needs more love.
My prayer for you in 2014 is that you experience more peace and more love and that you consistently find as many big, small and diverse ways to show love. My best wishes to you and your family for a safe, happy holiday season and a very happy new year. Onward ever! Cheers to our valued customers!
